Winter Fortress Cruise
This trip to Fort Warren on Georges Island is truly one of a kind! Visiting the fort during the winter is something that very few living people have experienced. Park Rangers lead tours of the fort, but you can also explore on your own. Visit the mini-museum at the Visitors Center to warm up and learn more about the island and the fort history. Remember, the ferry will always remain docked so that you can get snacks, warm up and use the restrooms.
Arts on the Island Park
This cruise is for everyone! If you enjoy painting outdoors, photographing nature, hearing experts discuss art or if you just want a beautiful day on the islands, this is the trip for you. This year, the trip will take guests to the 210 acre Peddocks Island. Guests can explore the winding trails or the circuitous shoreline. There are infinite possibilities for artistic subject matter along the way. Visit the new welcome center to warm up or return to the ferry for cold beverages and a snack at the galley.
