Never before has Fort Warren seen such a show! Come out for the afternoon to catch one of the weekly performances on Georges. Don't miss the urban youth performing arts group City Stage Co's rendition of Tall Tale of a Tall Ship or the K-8 children's theater group Kidstock's special island-themed twist on popular fairy tales! Pack a lunch for the occasion and prepare for the best seats in the fort. After the show, brush up on your Massachusetts history by exploring Fort Warren and taking a trip back in time!

City Stage Co.'s "Tall Tale of a Tall Ship"
July 2nd, 15th, 29th, August 12th
Jump aboard and sail along on City Stage Co.'s "Tall Tale of a Tall Ship". Cheer for the story of Julie, a woman who disguises herself as a lad and goes to sea. Audience volunteers laugh heartily at the "Old Salts", boo and hiss at "Scurvy Pete", and get seasick as the "Green Hands". Adventure awaits!
Kidstocks's "Jack & Jill and the Giant of Georges Island"
July 8th
Jack finds more than he wished for at the top of the beanstalk growing in the Parade Ground in Fort Warren, when Jill comes tumbling after him with all the Giant's treasure!
Kidstock's "Goldilocks and the Three Pigs – An Island Luau"
July 22nd
Poor hungry Goldilocks has to look in houses made of straw, sticks and bricks before she can find a wolf that's "just right"!
Kidstock's "Little Red Robin Hood & Mermaid Marian"
August 5th
Our daring hero is a prisoner at Fort Warren off to rob the rich granny on Peddocks Island to help his own poor granny afford a new basket of treats!
Kidstocks's "Make Way for the Ugly Duckling!"
August 19th
Look out for the incredible transformation and traffic jam that results from one ugly duck waddling from the Boston Harbor all the way to Fenway Park!
Kidstocks's "Pirates of Pencils ‘The Adventures of Captain Blackboard'"
August 26th
This is an interactive show (a parody on "The Pirates of Penzance" for those that "get it") that involves the audience in the "academic side" of becoming a pirate - fast, silly, fun and just right for the "back to school" buzz at the end of the summer!
